A regular visitor suggested that I put MacGyver on the site. I used to watch the show all the time, and think it's definitely cool enough for this site, so here it is!   The show starred Richard Dean Anderson [also cool in Stargate SG1!] as a genius who could get into or out of any situation just by using whatever he could find. There were a lot of great episodes, but my favorite ones were the ones with MacGyver's arch nemesis Murdoc [Michael Des Barres who was also in the band Scum of the Earth on one episode of WKRP and just appeared on a cool episode of Dead Like Me, as well as the movies Nightflyers and Silk Degrees]. Murdoc was the coolest villain! I always hoped that Murdoc would win, but he never did. Also appearing on the show   were Pete Thornton [Dana Elcar], MacGyver's buddy Jack Dalton [Bruce McGill, also in Quantum Leap, Star Trek: Voyager, and Timecop among others] and his friend Penny Parker [the very hot Teri Hatcher, Gallery (has adult banners)]. There isn't that much MacGyver content out there, but the good news is that MacGyver's out on DVD!! Stargate SG1 is one of the best sci-fi tv shows ever! I haven't   seen too many bad episodes. The cast is really amazing and the stories rule. There is more hard core sci-fi in any episode than in just about any other sci-fi show. They have everything from black holes, and alien possession to alternate realities and time travel. Every episode has the production value of a movie! Another great thing about SG1 is that it's been around for so long that we can really get to know the characters and mythology of the show, including the main cast, supporting cast and bad guys, plus they're making the Stargate world a franchise with Stargate: Atlantis and a new show that's in the works!  Even when Daniel Jackson [Michael Shanks] left the show for season 6 [replaced by Corin Nemec from The Stand], and Jack O'Neill was replaced on the team by Cameron Mitchell the show kept it's excellent quality! Well, after seeing every episode including the finale, Stargate SG1 has earned a spot in the top 10 sci-fi shows of all time! Even when it wavered for a while, it redeemed itself with the last season! They have 2 Stargate SG1 movies in the works now, let's hope they're the first of many! Plus some cast members [including Samantha Carter] are going to be on Stargate Atlantis. And there's a new series coming called Stargate Universe that should keep fans happy. There are really three versions of The Practice. The first 4-5 seasons were great, and some of the best tv around  . Then the show hit the skids and became a monotony of "shocker of the week" storylines. By this time it was really a good show on the skids. But then for season 8 they recast more than half the show and that was even worse than when it was on the skids.Obviously the original cast was the best and included Dylan McDermott, Steve Harris [from Minority Report and The Mod Squad], Michael Badalucco [from The Professional], Camryn Manheim [also in Eraser], Lisa Gay Hamilton [also in 12 Monkeys], Kelli Williams [from Earth 2],  the eerily skinny Lara Flynn Boyle, and let's not forget the ultra hot Marla Sokoloff! The Practice was different and well written in it's prime and was the best legal drama I've seen. My favorite character was Eugene, I loved the one where he beat up his own client [a child murderer] right in the courtroom in front of the judge! Boston Legal is what the already hacked to death Practice was turned into, but I couldn't stomach a single episode all the way through. The Practice logo links to a fan site.
