Just when I'm becoming less and less a fan of network tv, a show like Lost comes out. You almost never see shows with this kind of quality on network tv. Lost is so full of cool twists and weird stuff going on. It's is one of the best written shows I've seen and almost every episode seems way too short. It's about a large group of plane crash survivors on a strange island. There are a lot of theories for what's really going on. Plus there are supernatural and paranormal things about the island and maybe some of the people. And there's all kinds of crazy and carnivorous stuff in the forest on Lost Island. Hurley and Desmond are my two favorite characters, but everyone is so cool. Lost was created by J. J. Abrams, who also came up with Alias. Lost is the kind of great show that always surprises you and makes more questions than answers, leaving you always wanting more. The whole run so far was fantastic, with the minor exception of the middle of season 3. The cast is fantastic too, and includes Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Jorge Garcia, Dominic Monaghan [from the Lord of the Rings movies], Naveen Andrews, Michael Emerson [from The Practice, The X-Files and Saw], Emilie de Ravin [from Roswell and The Handler], Josh Holloway, Daniel Dae Kim [from Angel, 24 and Crusade], Yoon-jin Kim, Elizabeth Mitchell [from ER and Frequency], M.C. Gainey [from Streethawk, Con Air and Wild Hogs], Mira Furlan [from Babylon 5] and Terry O'Quinn [from Pin, X-Files, Millennium, Harsh Realm, Alias and Earth 2]. They've decided when Lost will end, but like everything else in the tv industry lately, the strike has definitely affected the timeline. From what I've seen of season 4, the show is back in top form and it's really good to see that. There's a reason the show is a phenomenon. Trust me, don't miss Lost. Hurley - "Dude, what do you want from me?" Charlie - "What do I want? I want to know what we're doing in the middle of nowhere! And don't tell me it's because of some stinking batteries. One minute you're happy-go-lucky, good-time Hurley, the next you're Colonel bloody Kurtz!" The production budget for the two-hour pilot was $12 million, way more than the cost of most television shows. This led to Disney firing ABC Entertainment Chairman Lloyd Braun for greenlighting the show, which went on to become a huge hit for ABC.

I didn't start watching Less Than Perfect until the second season, but I quickly realized what I was missing. I really miss this great show, I wish it ran a few more seasons. Less Than Perfect is a workplace comedy with great writing and a large cast of quirky characters. Sort of a cross between Friends and Working. But what really makes the show great is the awesome cast. Less Than Perfect stars the very cool Sara Rue [from Two And A Half Men, Idiocracy and Gypsy 83], one of my favorite comedians and impresionists Will Sasso [from Mad TV], Sherri Shepherd [from Everybody Loves Raymond], the always annoying [but less so here] Andy Dick [from NewsRadio], Patrick Warburton [from Rules Of Engagement, Family Guy and Seinfeld], Eric Roberts [Mongul from Justice League Unlimited], Zachary Levi [from Chuck], and the super hot and very funny Andrea Parker [from The Pretender]. My favorite character on the show is the goofy Carl [Will Sasso], but everyone's really great. It seems that changing careers as well as ratings are what finished off the show. Sara Rue changed a lot and didn't fit the premise of the show as well. Plus Eric Roberts leaving for the final season couldn't have helped. Unfortunately the show's done, and it seems like that was decided before season 4 hit the air. The Less Than Perfect logo links to a cool picture gallery from the show. Wow, what can I say about ReGenesis. It's one of the very best shows on TV and never fails to blow me away! It's on the Movie Network up here in Canada and it's as good as anything on HBO or Showtime! It's about a laboratory of scientists from Canada, the United States and Mexico. They prevent, cure and investigate outbreaks, epidemics and bio-terrorism among other things. It's like a science based version of CSI with a sci-fi twist and some 24 thrown in here and there. The more I watch, the more I want to see. As a matter of fact, the show's gotten even better as it goes on, with the most recent episodes being some of the best tv I've ever seen! After the "Blake's 7" ending of season 2, I was worried about the future of the show, I hope it runs for a long time, but I hear another such season ender is in the works so who knows. It stars the brilliant Peter Outerbridge [from The Commish, Millennium, The Outer Limits, 24, Time Shifters and Medical Investigation] as one of my favorite current tv characters Dr. David Sandstrom. He's the womanizing genius who runs the lab. The rest of the cast is fantastic, including Ellen Page [from The Trailerpark Boys and Juno], Maxim Roy, Sarah Strange [from Jeremiah, Men In Trees and The Outer Limits], Wendy Crewson [from 24, Folks! and The 6th Day], Greg Bryk, Mayko Nguyen, Conrad Pla, and Dmitry Chepovetsky [from The X-Files and Strange Luck]. Aside from Peter Outerbridge, I have to say that Dmitry Chepovetsky's acting as Bob on the show really blows me away. I hope for a DVD release just so more people can see this absolutely fantastic show. Hopefully every episode will be released soon, it's the show I most want to see on DVD. Ed is a great show that ran for 4 seasons on NBC. Ed is a big city lawyer who gets his life turned upside down. He ends up divorced and moving back to his home town of Stuckeyville. He buys the local bowling alley and opens a law practice there. The solid core of what makes Ed great is excellent canadian actor Tom Cavanagh [from The Outer Limits]. His quirky, friendly and sharp character Ed is the kind of guy you want to be buddies with. His kind of original thinking to solve problems remind me of The Commish. The rest of the cast is fantastic and make Stuckeyville as weird and funny as Cicely Alaska or Eerie Indiana. The cast includes Michael Ian Black, Lesley Boone, Julie Bowen [from ER, Strange Luck, Lost, Happy Gilmore and Multiplicity], Rachel Cronin, Michael Genadry, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jana Marie Hupp, Justin Long [also great in Jeepers Creepers, Idiocracy and Live Free Or Die Hard], Josh Randall, Mike Starr [from The Pretender, Nowhere Man, The Handler and a zillion other things], and Daryl "Chill" Mitchell [from Veronica's Closet, The John Larroquette Show and Galaxy Quest]. Called "Stuckeyville", the original CBS pilot set up the premise of the show. It featured Ed's string of bad luck, his return to Stuckeyville, and his fateful encounter with Carol. When the show finally aired on NBC, the whole CBS pilot had been edited down to a brief montage at the beginning of the NBC pilot. Ed Stevens - "I am a lawyer, I own a bowling alley. Two separate things." Mike Burton - "Who would win in a fight - a big, strong guy or an invisible fat guy?"

I'm one of the most die hard Superman fans you'll ever find. I've collected every issue of every Superman title since he was rebuilt in the 80's. I hated that crappy Lois & Clark show because it was like a cheesy soap opera. In season 1, Smallville was more Dawson's Creek than Man of Steel. After that though I started to watch as the show used a bit more of the Superman mythos. I'm still a stickler for comics continuity, but The Flash didn't jive exactly with the comic and that was great. Smallville has really dropped enough of that teen drama crap for me to watch it now. I wish DC would do more with all of their great characters, but Smallville's a good example of doing it right. Hell, at least it's a thousand times better than Lois & Clark. The show is really well cast too, including Tom Welling as Clark Kent in his teen years, the very hot [and Canadian] Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum [from Zeta Project and voice of The Flash on Justice League Unlimited] who's really great as Lex Luthor, the very hot Allison Mack, Annette O'Toole [from Stephen King's IT, The Outer Limits and Superman III], John Schneider [from The Dukes of Hazzard], John Glover [from Brimstone, The Twilight Zone, Ray Bradbury Theater and In The Mouth of Madness] and the very hot Erica Durance as Lois Lane. So the whole cast is great and I especially like John Glover's great work as Lex Luthor's evil father Lionel. The Smallville logo links to the official site.
