![]() Ed Tate [Vincent Ventresca from The Invisible Man, Friends, Boston Common, The Twilight Zone, Las Vegas and CSI Miami], and Walter Attwood [Larry Drake from Tales From The Crypt, L.A. Law, The Outer Limits, Stargate SG-1, Star Trek Voyager, Darkman, Dr. Giggles and Paranoia] find out that a genetically advanced humanoid species lives among us. They have advanced abilities that make them far better predators than regular homo-sapiens. Plus, they are organized and are working on an agenda of destroying us before we destroy them. They first discover this new race when they capture serial killer Randall Lynch and discover that his DNA is different from ours. The rest of the show follows the escalating war for control of the planet. The main weapon that the humans have against this enemy is a defector from their side,![]() Tom Daniels [Adam Storke from The Stand, Crossing Jordan and Law & Order: Criminal Intent]. He gives them help and information they use to hold their own as the war revs up. Also great in the show are Frankie Faison [from C.H.U.D., Maximum Overdrive, Silence Of The Lambs, The Langoliers and The Wire] and Roger Howarth as the cold blooded killer Randall Lynch. Unfortunately, Prey was killed after only one season and it ended on a cliffhanger. After seeing Debra Messing do such a great job here, it's too bad her most famous work is the awful Will & Grace. Prey is a lot like the fantastic 2005 show Threshold [which was also stupidly killed after one great season]. If you ever get the chance to watch Prey, make sure you don't pass it up! ![]() There's his brother Johnny "Drama" Chase [Kevin Dillon from NYPD Blue, Tales From The Crypt, 24, The Blob, The Doors, Stag and Platoon] who's a d-list actor riding his little brother's fame, his buddy Eric [Kevin Connolly] works as his manager, and his other buddy Turtle [Jerry Ferrara] is his driver and general gopher. Also great on the show are Jeremy Piven [from Ellen, Justice League, Judgment Night, Kiss The Girls, Heat, The Family Man and Runaway Jury] as his sleazy agent and Debi Mazar [from Working, L.A. Law, Get Real, The Practice and Malcolm X] as his image consultant. The cast and acting are great, but it's the celebrity lifestyle that really makes the show cool. There are a lot of cool celebrities who appear as themselves on the show too, like Mandy Moore, Hugh Hefner, James Cameron, Amanda Peet, James Woods,![]() Jessica Alba [from Idle Hands], Luke Wilson [from Blue Streak], Big Boy [from Fastlane], Gary Busey [from Point Break], Jaime Pressly [from Fastlane and My Name Is Earl], Danny Masterson [from That 70's Show and Puff Puff Pass], Chris Penn [from Reservoir Dogs], Peter Dinklage [from Threshold] and Brooke Shields among others. I love how the boys get along exactly like old friends, and how they still spend their time smoking dope and looking for women. I don't crave fame or anything, but the life the boys live looks pretty cool and the show is excellently written. The only problem is that the show's so good that each episode seems way too short and I hate waiting between episodes. If you haven't seen the show or don't get HBO, I highly recommend getting the show on DVD. Just watch one episode and you'll want to watch the whole season straight through! ![]() So they take it apon themselves to Mulder and Skully the place and keep track of the craziness they find. The rest of the cast is phenominal too, including Mary-Margaret Humes [from Manimal, The A-Team, Hunter, Night Court and Time Trax] as Marshall's hot mom Marilyn, Francis Guinan [from Alien Nation, Dark Skies, Sliders, That 70's Show, Star Trek Voyager, Spin City, Seven Days, The Practice and Grey's Anatomy] as Marshall's dad Edgar, the super hot Julie Condra [from The Wonder Years, Married With Children and Weird Science] as Marshall's sister Syndi, Gregory Itzin [from 24, Voyagers!, Street Hawk, Max Headroom, Night Court, Quantum Leap, Strange Luck, Players, Early Edition, The Practice and Friends] as the mayor of Eerie, John Astin [from The Addams Family, Fantasy Island, Mr. Boogedy, Night Court, Duckman and The Frighteners] as the real Radford, and Jason Marsden [from The Gummi Bears, Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show, Superman TAS, Justice League and Fun With Dick and Jane].![]() Along with a cool cast, the stories are great too, including one that shows where lost stuff goes, a kid who can hear what dogs are thinking, and one where an artificially intelligent ATM makes friends with Simon and gives him lots of money. Most episodes have a great Twilight Zone or Outer Limits vibe to them, and only a few episodes are less than fantastic! Eerie Indiana isn't just a kids show, anyone who likes good tv should love it. It was cancelled after just one season but the reruns were very popular a few years later so they tried to do "The Other Dimension" but it didn't have the coolness of the original. ![]() takes the hard things in his life and turns them into comedy gold. Like his father's drinking, his mother's mental illness and infidelity in his marriage. Stuff like that is not usually funny, but somehow Titus makes it all hilarious. The rest of the cast is great too, including the very hot Cynthia Watros [from Lost, Spin City, The Drew Carey Show and Lost], Zack Ward [from The Pretender, The Outer Limits, The Club, Freddy vs. Jason, and Resident Evil: Apocalypse], David Shatraw [from Spin City, Cold Case, Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas] and Stacy Keach [from Mike Hammer, Prison Break, Zeta Project, Body Bags and Up In Smoke]. All the characters are great, but my favorite is Titus's dad Ken. Stacy Keach is so perfect, he's even meaner and tougher than Red from That 70's Show. I love the episode where Ken stopped drinking and everyone [including Peter Jason as his boss] gets together to convince him to start again. Cynthia Watros is fantastic as Erin, I really think that Titus is some of her best work. But the later episodes where she had a new short hairstyle just weren't the same.![]() I think that what really kept the show's comedy cool and different was how the show would skip from the story, to flashbacks, to Titus talking to the camera. And all the physical and emotional damage done to young Titus [Dylan Capannelli] by his father is a real riot. My favorite scene from the whole show though, is when Christopher Titus quit drinking with a drunken fall into a bonfire! If you like comedy with a dark edgy twist, then you can't go wrong with Titus. It's a shame the show didn't last, I know I'd still be watching. The Titus logo links to a cool Titus picture gallery. ![]() It stars Luke Perry [from OZ, Windfall and Biker Mice From Mars] as Jeremiah, a survivor struggling to get by in the Mad Max like world left after The Big Death. His travelling partner Kurdy [Malcolm-Jamal Warner from The Cosby Show, Matt Houston, Tour Of Duty, Sliders and Listen Up] helps him get by, and they help out other people along their way. Also cool in the show are Peter Stebbings [from The X-Files, The Outer Limits and Stargate SG-1], Ingrid Kavelaars [from Millennium, First Wave, The Outer Limits, The Handler, Stargate SG-1 and Dreamcatcher], Kim Hawthorne [from Dark Angel, Stargate SG-1, The Outer Limits, Andromeda and The Chronicles of Riddick], Joanne Kelly, John Pyper-Ferguson [from MacGyver, The X-Files, Harsh Realm, Battlestar Galactica, For Richer or Poorer and X-Men The Last Stand], Teryl Rothery [from The Commish, TWO, Dead Like Me and Stargate SG-1], Robert Wisden [from Seven Days, John Doe, Smallville and Stargate SG-1], and Sean Astin [from 24, Las Vegas, The Goonies, 50 First Dates, Click and The Lord Of The Rings movies].![]() Season one is a great setup for the show, but season 2 is my favorite. In season 2, Sean Astin joins as my favorite character Mister Smith. Plus everybody is trying to organize the world again, while battling the evil opposing force of Daniel's armies. The storyline is really epic and there are some really mind blowing episodes. Jeremiah is right up there with other great end of the world stories like The Stand and Y: Last Man. I would've liked to see the show run longer but at least there was a cool resolution to the series. I was definitely no fan of Luke Perry or Malcolm-Jamal Warner, until I watched Jeremiah. They both do fantastic work on the show. The Jeremiah logo links to the official site, here are some other cool Jeremiah TV links:Jeremiah episode guide Jeremiah at the IMDB.
